Around the U.S. in 7 Days

By the time you read this we should have already boarded flight 479 and headed southwest to Las Vegas. For us, Monday night kicks off probably the longest seven day stretch either of us has ever had.
We are flying out of Fargo and going non-stop to Vegas. Factoring in the time changes of crossing two time zones, we actually land in Vegas an hour and fifteen minutes after leaving Fargo – too bad the flight doesn’t last that long.
I’m sure some of you are thinking that we just went to Vegas, and you would be correct. We were there last summer, but we wanted to go back to see a few more things that we missed last time and actually do some gambling this time around. Plus spend a bunch of time and money at Margaritaville, which is conveniently located at the Flamingo, the hotel we are staying at.
Yes, that sounds all fine and dandy, but the real reason, however, is that Crystal just had to see Celine Dion perform at Caesar’s Palace before she stops performing there at end of this year, citing that her dad missed his chance at seeing Elvis perform and he died shortly after. I will have my opportunity to drag her to someplace else by the end of our trip.
We fly back to Fargo on Thursday afternoon and will get to sleep in our bed for one night before it is off to Minneapolis on Friday morning. Crystal is the matron of honor in a wedding and we have to be there for the rehearsal on Friday night. Saturday is completely booked as that is the day of the wedding, which I have been signed on to be the videographer for.
You’d think that after all of that it would be time to head back home, but it just so happened that the WWE decided to make a stop in Minneapolis on Sunday night for television tapings of ECW and Smackdown. If the same camera setup is used as the last time they came around, we should be directly across from the cameras about 20 rows up.
For those of you who want to watch the shows, the ECW show will air Tuesday night at 9 PM on the Sci Fi channel and Smackdown will air Friday night at 7 PM on the CW network. I told you I’d get my opportunity to drag her someplace else.
Hopefully we’ll have some more photos to share once this is over. Talk to you all in a week!

Celine Dion and wrestling all in one week seems a bit overwhelming! The traveling will not compare! Hope you have a great week (sure glad it's you and not me!)
