Travel Log: Cascade River State Park

Weather: Rain first day - cold, drizzle, overcast on second day

We arrived to this park with the rain still coming down, even stalling by making stops along the way to small shops and a camping supply store. The rain finally turned to a drizzle so we set up our very wet tent. 

We were able to dry out the inside, but after a taxing day of rain, we went to have supper at the Cascade Lodge down the road. Jason had excellent ribs while Crystal dined on walleye. The meal was made complete with hot lava cake.

We spent the next day completing our drive up the North Shore and dined on steaks that night.
