A Nightmare on Elm Street
In honor of the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, another movie marathon is in order to watch the complete Elm Street series. This 14-hour marathon will start with the 1984 version of the Wes Craven classic A Nightmare on Elm Street and end with the 2010 retelling of the same film.
AFI 100 Years... 100 Movies
This is the movie marathon that started it all. In 2007, AFI (American Film Institute) released an updated 10th Anniversary edition of their "100 Years... 100 Movies" list, which counts down the top 100 American movies of all time as voted upon by a jury of actors, directors, critics and historians. Shortly after the list was revealed, the two of us set out to watch all 100 movies on the list, even the ones we have seen countless times before. After watching each film we will be posting our own thoughts about the movie to the web site.
After Dark Horrorfest 2006
In 2006, After Dark Films created the After Dark Horrorfest, also known as 8 Films to Die For. This group of films was considered to be "too graphic, too disturbing, and too shocking for general audiences," and had a limited theatrical run in select cities. Two bonus films were added to the After Dark Horrorfest after the original showing of the eight films were complete, bring the total up to 10 Films to Die For. Being the horror movie fan that he is, Jason will be watching and reviewing all 10 films in this series.
After Dark Horrorfest 2007
The After Dark Horrorfest continued in 2007 with 8 More Films to Die For. The theatrical run for these eight films went from November 9 to November 18 and intended to thrill viewers by provoking fear or revulsion through the depiction of grotesque, violent, or supernatural events. Like the first series of films, Jason will be watching and reviewing all 8 films in the 2007 series.
After Dark Horrorfest III
The third annual After Dark Horrorfest returned in 2009 with another 8 Films to Die For. These eight films had a limited theatrical run from January 9 to January 15 and promised to unleash your fears and scare you to death. Jason will be watching and reviewing all 8 films in the After Dark Horrorfest III series.
After Dark Horrorfest IV
The fourth installment of the After Dark Horrorfest returned in 2010 with another 8 Films to Die For. These eight independent horror films had a limited theatrical run from January 29 to February 4 and celebrates all areas of the horror genre. Jason will be watching all 8 films in the After Dark Horrorfest IV series.
Alien vs. Predator
This movie marathon includes all of the movies in both the Alien and Predator franchises, plus the crossover films featuring both of the iconic Alien and Predator creatures.
DC Comics
Movie marathon featuring live-action movies based on DC Comics. The DC Comic franchise pretty much consists of Batman and Superman movies with a few others thrown in for good measure.

Kevin Smith directed Jason's favorite movie of all time and his View Askewniverse movies holds a special place in his heart. This marathon dives into Kevin Smith's entire career as a director, featuring movies with and without Jay and Silent Bob.

Quentin Tarantino is one of Jason's favorite directors and this movie marathon goes through his entire career with all of the movies Tarantino has directed in his filmography.

This Director Series marathon takes a trip through all of the twisted and macabre horror films that has come from the mind of the singer-turned-director Rob Zombie.
Friday the 13th
A 20-hour movie marathon featuring all 12 movies of the Friday the 13th franchise. Of course, this one-day marathon could not be complete without watching them all on Friday the 13th.
Halloween
A movie marathon featuring all 13 movies of the Halloween franchise. This marathon could not be complete without watching them all on Halloween.
James Bond
A movie marathon that goes through the entire catalog of the James Bond spy films produced by Eon Productions starting in 1962 to present and spanning six different actors who were cast in the 007 role.
John Grisham Movies
This marathon goes through the movies that were based on book by John Grisham. Crystal reads the book and then both Crystal and Jason watch the movie.
