Weather: Warm first night, mid 70s on Saturday

We arrived later than usual on a Friday. Our first priority was earning our Loon Patch as this park marked our 8th state park visit. On Saturday we hiked the Bog Walk, a short two mile hike, where I got to use my Camelbak for the first time. We hiked again later in the day on several other trails and along the beach. It was too cool to swim and the water was murky. A lot of wildlife was present at this park, especially squirrels and chipmunks that scampered through our campsite routinely. A bear had also been sighted various times at the park this summer, but he did not visit us.
