Travel Log: Sibley State Park

Weather: Sunny and warm

Three attempts were made to stay at this park. In 2011, we had reservations to camp over the 4th of July. Due to the state shutting down, the park was closed. Our second attempt was in June 2012, but due to a death in the family, we had to return home after one night. We were able to hike up Mt. Tom before leaving. We returned at the end of July and the third time was the charm. We went swimming, hiked, gathered catnip and visited the Interpretive Center.
