Jason's Thoughts
I haven't been too disappointed with foreign horror films in the past, but I guess there is a first for everything. This was one of the eight films in this round of the After Dark Horrorfest that I was looking forward to, and about half way through it, I was wishing that it would end.
I will admit, Voices does look good on the surface with great camera work and effects, however, that's about all it has to offer. The story itself is dull and drawn out, and on top of that, the movie drags on seemingly forever. I don't mind watching a movie with a slow build as long as it gets somewhere, but Voices never quite does that. By the end of the movie, I was left with a "oh, that's it?" thought in my head.
I really was expecting more from this movie but all it seemed to offer was a slow confusing mess of a movie. I really wish the voices would have told me to stay away from this film.
